Collaboration between two clinics

The Leman Hand Clinic (LHC) opened in the Petit Prairie district of Nyon in August 2019, at the same time as Leman Aesthetic Clinic (LAC). Our clinic was founded on a long friendship story and same ideals of 3 surgeons (Dr Mirsada Bejic, Dr Daniel Espinoza, Dr Daniel Haselbach) and a hand therapist (Priscille de Melis). Based on common values and shared goals, we created a modern clinic at the entrance of Nyon, that we wanted efficient, dynamic and close to the patients.

Dr Mirsada Bejic, specialist in hand surgery, was trained at the University Center of Lausanne, in the department of plastic and hand surgery, as well as her two fellow plastic surgeons, Dr Daniel Espinoza and Dr Daniel Haselbach. It was only natural that they decided to gather their energy around a joint project, the opening of a medical and surgical center.
The two clinics are independent but collaborate in the care of patients.
The team shares new and functional premises, as well as an ultra-modern operating room.

La Leman Hand Clinic

When founding the Leman Hand Clinic, Dr Bejic partnered with a former colleague and close friend, Priscilla de Melis, a hand therapist. The team aspires to be available and effective but above all close to their patients. At the LHC, the concept is to offer patient care from A to Z (consultation – operation – rehabilitation), all on site at the clinic.

In addition, everything is done to ensure that operations take place in a warm, intimate atmosphere and within a short amount of time (less stress than in a hospital).
For example, for a carpal tunnel surgery, the patient presents himself at the office, Dr Bejic performs a local anesthesia on the wrist allowing an operation without a tourniquet, which is a real plus for the patient (absence of pain to the arm).
The total care is carried out in less than 1h30, from the patient’s arrival at the clinic until his return at home.

Priscilla de Melis receives patients for custom-made splints for all hand, wrist or elbow pathologies. She specializes in hand rehabilitation, especially after surgery. The synergy and proximity between the surgeon and hand therapist is highly appreciated by patients.

Dr Bejic is also a licensed physician at Nyon Hospital (GHOL), as a specialist hand consultant.
She collaborates in particular with the emergency service for a more fluid and efficient care of patients.
In addition, she performs more complex operations such as wrist fractures or osteoarthritis treatments.

Furthermore, for the patients who wish to be hospitalized in a private clinic, the surgery can be organized at la Clinique de Genolier, where Dr Bejic is approved.

La Leman Aesthetic Clinic

Leman Aesthetic Clinic (LAC), created more than 10 years ago in the center of Geneva, is manages by three plastic and aesthetic surgeons: Dr Daniel Espinoza, Dr Daniel Haselbach et Dr Patrice Zaugg.
They have known each other for over 10 years and practice all types of cosmetic surgeries (breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, eye-lid surgery, liposuction, etc.) as well as restorative surgery.
