Leman Hand Clinic (LHC) opened its doors in Nyon’s Petite Prairie district in August 2019, at the same time as Leman Aesthetic Clinic (LAC). It all began with a story of friendship and values between Dr Bejic and three plastic surgeons (Dr. Espinoza, Dr. Haselbach, Dr. Zaugg), all trained at the Lausanne University Center, who wanted to create a modern, specialized and dynamic clinic in Nyon.
Dr. Mirsada Bejic is an accredited specialist in hand and wrist surgery at Nyon Hospital (GHOL). In particular, she works closely with the Emergency Department to ensure smooth, efficient patient care. She also performs major operations such as fractures and osteoarthritis of the wrist.
Occupational therapist Elise Marenghi sees patients to make custom-made splints for all hand, wrist and elbow pathologies. She specializes in hand rehabilitation, particularly after surgery. The complementary nature and proximity of the surgeon-hand therapist pairing is much appreciated by patients.
Among the essential technologies we use to diagnose and treat hand and wrist disorders, fluoroscopy plays an indispensable role. This advanced medical imaging test enables us to visualize and obtain precise, real-time images of the internal structures of the hand and wrist (bones, joints), facilitating rapid diagnosis and effective treatment.

Dr. Mirsada Bejic, a specialist in hand surgery, trained at the Lausanne University Center in the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery, as did her fellow plastic surgeons, Dr. Daniel Espinoza, Dr Patrice Zaugg and Dr. Daniel Haselbach. It was only natural that they should pool their energies around a common project and open a medical-surgical center. The two clinics are independent, but collaborate on patient care. The team shares new, functional premises, as well as an ultra-modern operating theatre.
When Leman Hand Clinic was founded, Dr. Bejic wanted to offer A to Z care at the practice (consultation – surgery – rehabilitation).
In parallel, Leman Aesthetic Clinic (LAC), established over 10 years ago in central Geneva, is run by 3 plastic and aesthetic surgeons: Dr Daniel Espinoza, Dr Daniel Haselbach and Dr Patrice Zaugg. They have known each other for over 10 years, and together perform all types of aesthetic surgery (breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, liposuction, etc.), as well as reconstructive and reparative surgery.
Whatever your insurance (private or basic), you can benefit from consultations and any outpatient operations in our clinic, covered by basic insurance.
