Dr. Mirsada Bejic – Specialist in hand and wrist surgery

Dr. Mirsada Bejic is a Swiss surgeon specializing in hand and wrist surgery.

A graduate of the University of Lausanne medical school, she holds a Swiss and European title in hand surgery (European Board of Hand Surgery). In 2019, she founded the Leman Hand Clinic in Nyon, where she works as an independent surgeon, enabling her to develop a privileged relationship with her patients in a warm, intimate setting.

Dr Bejic is particularly renowned for her surgical expertise in osteoarthritis of the thumb, hand and wrist, Dupuytren’s disease and peripheral nerve compression syndromes.

Dr Patrice Zaugg – Specialist in plastic, reconstructive and hand and wrist surgery

Dr. Patrice Zaugg is a Swiss surgeon specializing in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery.
A graduate of the University of Lausanne medical school, he is a Swiss and European specialist in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery (EBOPRAS).

He was Head of the Plastic and Hand Surgery Department at Valais Hospital for 6 years before moving to Nyon. He continues to work in the hospital as a board-certified plastic and hand surgeon.

Dr Patrice Zaugg joined the Leman Hand Clinic in 2021, and collaborates regularly with Dr Mirsada Bejic, particularly on complex cases. Whether during multidisciplinary symposia or particularly demanding operations, the 2 surgeons combine their expertise to deliver the best results for patients.

Elise Marenghi – Occupational therapist and osteopath

A graduate of the Haute Ecole de Santé de Lausanne and the Institut Supérieur d’Ostéopathie de Lyon (France), Elise Marenghi is an occupational therapist specializing in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. Elise works closely with Dr. Bejic at the Leman Hand Clinic to optimize the rehabilitation and recovery process following pathologies or accidents (operated or not).

This multidisciplinary approach ensures personalized care, optimum quality of care and treatment from A to Z on site. Elise also makes all hand and upper-limb splints to measure for safe post-operative rehabilitation, with the comfort of lighter, well-adapted immobilization.

Nadège Vulliet, our clinic manager, is your first contact with Leman Hand Clinic most of the time. With many years’ experience in a hand surgery practice in Geneva, she joined Leman Hand Clinic at the beginning of 2023. Welcoming, gentle and organized, she does her utmost to satisfy your requests, especially when it comes to appointments. She is your first point of contact for scheduling operations, hospital and clinic formalities, and insurance matters. In addition, she assists Dr. Bejic during operations in the Leman Hand Clinic’s operating room, helping her with dressing repairs and stitches removal.
