Studies

After my studies at the Lausanne Medical School, I trained in general surgery for 3 years before starting specific training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at the CHUV, under the guidance of Professor Wassim Raffoul, who was an outstanding mentor. I completed my hand surgery training over 5 years in the French-speaking cantons, as well as a fellowship in Aix-en-Provence.

In 2017, I obtained the European Specialist Diploma in Hand Surgery, followed in 2018 by the Swiss Diploma in Hand Surgery (ISFM).

Birth of the Leman Hand Clinic

In 2019, our joint adventure Leman Hand Clinic and Leman Aesthetic Clinic began with my colleagues and friends Dr Daniel Espinoza, Dr Daniel Haselbach and Dr Patrice Zaugg. Our project grew naturally out of sincere friendships and professional collaboration. Although our LHC and LAC clinics are independent, they remain linked by a common vision and strong values: excellence, sharing and caring. Above all, it’s a human and family adventure, where every intervention reflects our passion and commitment to taking care of you.

We have an ultra-modern, fully-equipped operating theatre on our premises, which we share. We often operate together with Dr. Patrice Zaugg, a plastic and hand surgeon with whom I worked during my training at CHUV in Lausanne and in Valais. He was Head of Plastic and Hand Surgery at the Valais Hospital before coming to Nyon.

In 2024, the LHC team was enriched by the arrival of Elise Marenghi, a dedicated and empathetic specialist occupational therapist, who took charge of hand rehabilitation. Every patient who walks through the door of the Leman Hand Clinic is welcomed personally, in an intimate setting. We strive to treat each case with the utmost care, in a humane manner, taking the time to listen to our patients and respond to their needs with kindness and caring.
