Various medical treatments

At Leman Hand Clinic, we provide specialized treatments to enhance mobility and support patient recovery. Our approach includes occupational therapy, custom-made splints, infrared light therapy, and injections for comprehensive care.

Occupational therapy of the hand

Occupational therapy at Leman Hand Clinic aims to restore function and mobility to the hand and upper limb. Each treatment plan is carefully tailored to individual needs, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Our experienced occupational therapist works closely with your hand surgeon to help you regain hand mobility quickly.

Custom-made splint

Our hand therapist designs custom-made splints, such as casts and orthoses, to support and protect your hand or wrist during healing. These devices are manufactured according to your morphology and the nature of your injury. They offer optimum support, while allowing the mobility needed for rehabilitation. Custom-made splints play an important role in the recovery process, stabilizing joints while avoiding further complications. This means faster and safer healing.

Infrared light therapy

Red LED light therapy is an innovative technique used to relieve pain (particularly osteoarthritis-related) and accelerate tissue healing. At Leman Hand Clinic, this therapy is integrated into rehabilitation programs for its beneficial effects on blood circulation and inflammation reduction. Red and infrared light treatment is non-invasive and particularly effective for patients suffering from chronic or post-traumatic hand and wrist conditions.

Infiltrations

Infiltrations are used to reduce inflammation and relieve pain in the joints or soft tissues of the hand and wrist. They include the injection of steroids for their powerful anti-inflammatory effect, and hyaluronic acid to lubricate joints and relieve pain. These treatments are particularly indicated for patients suffering from inflammatory pathologies such as osteoarthritis or tendonitis. These injections offer rapid, targeted relief, improving patients’ quality of life and facilitating their participation in rehabilitation programs.
